"The Jonas Brothers are a plague of Biblical proportions: their songs are on the radio, their tv show is a hit, their tours sell out to hysterical crowds of screaming girls and their film, in which they act, sing and get screamed at, was a box office and DVD smash.
What makes this plague so worrying is not only the rate at which it has infected girls around the globe, but also how little of substance is involved. The Brothers are nice, clean, pious and terribly, terribly innocuous in word, music and deed.
Perhaps it is better for the youth of today to idolise these smiling blanks rather than former-sex-symbol-and-now-bald-wreck Britney Spears, but is fantasising about people this passionless really something we want to encourage?
A plague of dull niceness may not be threatening, but it is a terrible thing to wish upon our teenagers. Whatever happened to the dream of rock'n'roll?"

So what do you think about this band?

For my taste, the Jonas Brothers is a group of teenagers, that is all. One thing in music is to sing well, to have a good sound and something very different is that you like the looks of a singer. That is the case of many girls and weird (strange) men...I like something different. It does not seem to me that they sing so well to have a reputation that goes all over the world.Bye, Jeanclaude.
ResponderEliminarI have the same opinion of that journalist; the good aspect of the Jonas
ResponderEliminarBrothers is that they are clean, they are not in drugs like lots of stars, but
they continue being empty idols. I haven`t seen their film but I think that it
is a film with music and young people romance.
I think that they wouldn´t be so famous if they didn´t have Disney as their
manager. Their songs can have rithm but not a very good message.
Personally, I don´t like the Jonas Brothers.

There are many songs of Jonas Brothers that have a good message and a good rythm but there are others that don´t have them. And that´s the problem for the people who don´t like Jonas: apart from the lack of good music or lyrics, they don´t like their image and all the publicity.Jonas Brothers have an overexploited image of the good guys of Disney. How many times will this image make girls scream like nuts?
